TaLK or Teach and Learn in Korea is an opportunity for undergraduates who are seeking a personal, professional and educational experience in South Korea. It allows students to spend time in rural locations teaching English. Approximately 500 people take part in the program annually.
To be part of the program you need to have at least 2 years of college education and be from one of the 7 major English speaking countries. Prior to starting work you will complete a month’s training not only about teaching but also cultural aspects of living in Korea.
Those who take part spend either 6 or 12 months teaching in rural Korea. The intakes occur either in August or February. As well as cultural benefits, the program also supplies accommodation, round trip airfare and health cover.
After a successful first time you can renew once more, however you will go through the entire registration process from scratch.
